Storware vProtect is now Storware Backup and Recovery

Storware vProtect 4.3 was the last release under the name of the ‘vProtect’ solution. On January 31, 2022, on the basis of Storware vProtect we released a unified system for virtual machines, applications, container and cloud environments and storage providers, enriched with Microsoft 365 and Endpoints backup and recovery.

The first release of the Storware’s unified backup system is codenamed “Fusion“, version 5.0 – Storware Backup and Recovery is dedicated to:

• Backup and recovery for Virtual Machines: Citrix Hypervisor, KVM, Huawei FusionCompute, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis AHV, Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager, Oracle VM, oVirt, OpenStack, Proxmox, Red Hat Virtualization, XCP-ng, XEN, VMware vSphere and ESXi.
• Backup and recovery for container environments: Kubernetes, Proxmox, Red Hat Openshift
