Storware and Virtuozzo Technology Partnership Announced

Storware partners with Virtuozzo to Simplify Backup and Recovery for MSPs Selling Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud!

Storware is excited to announced a new technology alliance with Virtuozzo, the leading cloud enablement partner for service providers. The alliance will enable Managed Service Providers and Cloud Service Providers to offer customers a simple subscription model for Storware data protection solution combined with public, private and hybrid cloud hosting services based on Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure.

We are thrilled to partner with Virtuozzo and bring their customers the benefits of our data protection solutions – Storware Backup and Recovery, said Jan Sobieszczanski, CEO of Storware. With this partnership, we are taking a big step towards providing MSPs and CSPs with a comprehensive and scalable solution for backup and recovery that will enable them to better serve their customers.

Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure is a hyperconverged cloud platform designed for service providers. Based on OpenStack, it gives service providers a more feature- and margin-rich platform for hosting customer applications and data compared to legacy enterprise cloud platforms, or reselling hyperscale clouds. Storware’s fast, scalable, agentless backup and recovery solution is now tightly integrated with Virtuozzo to enable MSPs to sell data protection for Virtual Machines and individual objects, together with their own branded IaaS clouds, for a simple monthly subscription. Customers can store data in multiple destinations supported by Storware.

Our partnership with Storware gives MSPs even more flexibility in the way they help businesses manage their cloud and backup requirements,” said James Withall, VP Technology Alliances and IT at Virtuozzo. “Providing tight integration of cloud and data protection in one solution, with an easy-to-buy subscription model, makes it easy for MSPs to turn backup customers into cloud customers, and vice-versa – solving more problems and creating a more valuable relationship.

The Storware-Virtuozzo subscription model simplifies the process of sourcing best-in-class backup, recovery and cloud for MSPs and CSPs and their customers. The combined solution is designed from the ground-up for modern multi-tenant cloud and scales from small starter clusters to very large environments, helping MSPs accommodate their growing customer needs. The joint solution is available now, either for on-premises deployment (for MSPs with their own infrastructure) or via Virtuozzo’s global network of cloud provider partners.
