Massive IBM event in Prague, CZ.

Storware is proud of being part of IBM Power Systems and System Storage University in Prague. The event consisted of almost 400 sessions within 5 days. Pawel Maczka, Storware CTO lead his session on Monday , Nov. 6th. The presentation refered to vProtect which extends capabilities of IBM Spectrum Protect to perform protection for open hypervisor environments such as RHV, KVM, KVMz, Citrix XenServer, Proxmox.

The presentation included product overview and example of troubleshooting scenario. Pawel explained how one of our customers -Tietokeskus (Finland) efficiently backed up more than 20 Citrix XenServers based on IBM Spectrum Protect. In addition, the presentation mentioned future release considerations including backup for Docker and OpenStack.
