Storware Certification Trainings
Validate your expertise in protecting virtual machines, cloud, and container environments — and build the hands-on skills to design backup and DR scenarios that hold up in demanding, multi-vendor infrastructures. Two levels, both free.
Prepare with the basics
Start with the fundamentals. Watch the Storware YouTube, get familiar with the Storware documentation, and check yourself against the Preliminary Test — a minimum of 22/30 points is the recommended entry bar for Level I. Level II builds on that foundation and requires a Storware Technical Presales certificate plus working knowledge of Linux CLI (Red Hat, CentOS) and PuTTY.
Book your level via the form
Choose your certification level and preferred session date in the form on this page. Use the same email address you registered for the Preliminary Test, so we can identify you. Level I runs as a scheduled online session; Level II runs at the end of each quarter or on demand.
Get certified
Complete the training, pass the assessment, and earn your certificate. Certificates are valid for two years and come with the digital badges to prove it — and for partners, certification is a required step toward a higher partnership tier.
Two levels, one certification path.
Storware offers two industry certification levels, both free.
Level I — Storware Technical Presales is a four-hour online session closing with a one-hour exam; the passing score is 75%. After it, you’ll know what Storware protects and where it stores data, understand the licensing and support model, and be able to run a technical and live presentation in a prepared environment.
Level II — Storware Technical Expert is a one-week, self-paced set of labs in the Storware vLabs environment, with full documentation and the option to book up to an hour of an engineer’s time in 30-minute slots. After it, you’ll be able to prepare a PoC in the lab or a customer’s environment, propose sizing and deployment for smaller infrastructures, and solve common issues.
Knowledge you can test in a real environment.
This isn’t certification on paper. You get systematized technical knowledge with the chance to test it in Storware Lab on a selected virtualization environment — the same platforms your customers run. Certification confirms a real, working understanding of Storware Backup and Recovery and its role in keeping data centers running through change, migration, and scale.
A credential that moves your partnership forward.
For partners and distributors, certification is one of the mandatory steps to move up a partnership tier — and every tier unlocks better terms and deeper program benefits. For individual engineers and architects, it’s a recognized, two-year-valid mark of expertise in modern, multi-vendor data protection. Either way, the skills carry directly into the projects you deliver.
